Great Lakes Growers, an 80,000 square foot hydroponic greenhouse facility that grows leafy greens and herbs in Burton, Ohio, is excited to announce the addition of John Tutolo to the executive team as the company’s new executive vice president of sales, according to a press release.

A long-time resident of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Tutolo has over 20-years of experience in the food production and distribution industry, first as the food service sales manager for Sara Lee Foods, the national sales manager for King Nut Companies and most recently the director of national account sales for the Chicago Meat Authority.

“We’ve been looking for someone of his caliber and industry experience for a while now. He came highly recommended and after speaking with him, I could see why," John Bonner, owner of Great Lakes Growers, said in the release. "His success and experience speak for themselves, but it was his passion for what we were doing that really stood out. Great Lakes Growers has grown a lot over the last few years, and we needed to find someone like John to not only help us take the next step in terms of our growth, but also provide insight and leadership into new markets. I’m really excited to have him as part of the Great Lakes Growers team.”
