The next offering in the Produce Marketing Association's (PMA) Virtual Town Hall series - Understanding Consumers to Drive Demand - aims to provide insights into consumer behavior to help produce growers adjust their marketing and supply methods to align with the 'new normal' of the coronavirus pandemic. The town hall is free of charge and streams live online on May 13 at 12:00 noon EST. Register here to attend.

The moderated panel discussion, per PMA, "will explore consumer demand and purchasing trends as a basis to understand, forecast and create demand in post-pandemic markets." The panelists lined up for the event include:

• Zandi Brehmer, Head of Client Innovation, Euromonitor
• Adam Cooper, Senior Vice President of Marketing, The Wonderful Company
• Dr. Rosabeth Moss Kanter, Ernest L. Arbuckle Professor of Business Administration, Harvard Business School
• Lauren Scott, Chief Marketing Officer, Produce Marketing Association

After the presentation, there are several live break-out sessions available to participants.

The town hall meetings were designed to help agri-business "come together as an industry to engage with PMA experts and fellow members as we discuss the challenges our members and industry are facing as we respond to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic," according to information on PMA's website.
