Mythic ‘Dragon Scale’ jewel alocasia, part of the leafjoy houseplant collection from Proven Winners, features mottled, deep green to silver foliage. The thick, textured leaves appear leathery. ‘Dragon Scale’ grows up to 36 inches tall.
In the home or office, alocasias have a medium light requirement, which translates to medium bright indirect light in the morning or evening, typically from an east or west window. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight, as it can lead to leaf scorch. Keep them at a temperature between 60 and 85°F. Alocasias are sensitive to cold drafts and temperatures below 60°F, which can cause leaf drop and diminished growth. Alocasias perform best in a medium to high humidity setting.
