The Pantone Color Institute chose PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz as its 2024 Color of the Year for its sense of comfort and warmth. “It needed to be a color whose warm and welcoming embrace conveyed a message of compassion and empathy. One that was nurturing and whose cozy sensibility brought people together and elicited a feeling of tactility. … One whose gentle lightness and airy presence lifts us into the future,” says Laurie Pressman, vice president of the Pantone Color Institute.
PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz inspires belonging, recalibration and an opportunity for nurturing, conjuring up an air of calm, Pressman adds. That falls in line with the health and wellness benefits of plants and gardening. It’s a color found in a multitude of plants. Here are a few.
