Brian Horn has been reporting on the green industry since 2010 when he joined Lawn & Landscape magazine as an associate editor. He moved into the managing editor role in 2014 before being named editor in 2017. He is responsible for the editorial direction of the magazine and digital components and communicates on a regular basis with industry professionals across North America to stay in tune with the trends in the market. He’s also heavily involved in Lawn & Landscape’s Technology Conference, Business Builders and Top 100 face-to-face events.
He started his writing career at Sun Newspapers, a weekly publication covering the Cleveland suburbs, where he stayed for two years before joining the Sandusky Register, a daily newspaper located between Toledo and Cleveland. From there, he wrote for Smart Business Magazine, where he interviewed top executives from companies like Men’s Wearhouse and the Melting Pot and many other successful organizations. He graduated from Bowling Green State University with a journalism degree.
