The seventh annual Las Vegas edition of Indoor Ag-Con will be held May 22 to 24 in Las Vegas at the Red Rock Resort, according to a press release. The theme of 2019's event is '"Growing for the Future"; registration opened on Feb. 25.
According to the press release announcing registration opening, this year's event will focus on the hemp sector as part of a "crop agnostic, tech-focused" itinerary. A white paper — titled "Automation, AI & The Next Generation" — will be released in physical form at the event to all attendees.
Education sessions will be broken up into five tracks: grow equipment, crop selection, customers and the supply chain, business and policy and societal impact. The press release also states that there will be a lineup of 40-plus speakers.
2019's event will be the first Ag-Con event in Las Vegas since Nancy Hallberg, Kris Sieradzki and Brian Sullivan purchased Indoor Ag-Con LLC from its founding company, Newbean Capital. Hallberg and Sieradzki are the owners of Connections Housing, an event services company. Sullivan is the president and owner of The Great American Franchise Expo, another event planning company.
Nicola Kerslake, founder of Newbean Capital, remains involved with Indoor Ag-Con as its chief curator.
