On Thursday, Oct. 23, Atticus announced an exclusive marketing agreement with Nichino America to commercialize Rycar insecticide under the Atticus banner.
According to Atticus, Rycar complements the organization’s portfolio for indoor greenhouse uses, further supported by its investment in marketing, back-office operations and agronomic expertise.
"Rycar provides reliable control of whiteflies and other sap-feeding insects, especially when growers are facing resistant pest populations where traditional chemistries have failed," said Jane Stanley, manager of technical services – greenhouse & nursery. "Rycar is a proven chemistry that growers have come to rely on for integrated pest management in ornamental plant production."
"This new partnership with Atticus is an important step forward for Nichino and the growers we serve," said Justin Jones, director of business development and strategic planning. "Rycar has been a long-standing solution in the greenhouse and ornamental space. We are confident that Atticus' commitment to technical excellence will ensure Rycar's continued legacy of success for the customers who depend on its performance."
