BioWorks announces new director of horticulture sales and distributor relations

BioWorks (a division of BioFirst Group), a provider of IPM solutions to the horticulture and specialty ag markets, announces that Ron Ostrander joins as director of horticulture sales and distributor relations.

Ostrander’s responsibilities include leading the BioWorks horticulture sales team, managing channel partnerships and developing new business in the horticulture sector.

With more than 30 years of sales experience in horticultural markets, Ostrander was most recently vice president of national commercial sales at OHP/American Vanguard.

“Ron is well respected in the industry, and as we expand our portfolio with new products, his relationships at the grower, distributor and manufacturer levels will really deliver an advantage,” says Troy Bettner, vice president of sales and technical services. “His skills and reputation will drive our horticulture sales expertise and excellence.”
