From Focus Information Agency:
Owners of greenhouses in Bulgaria are preparing to stage protests over unfulfilled business engagements before them and the greenhouse sector not being paid enough attention. Georgi Kamburov, secretary of the Bulgarian Greenhouse Growers' Association (BGGA) announced the plan protests last week.
The organization’s main reason for discontent is said to be the distribution of allocations from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, taken in connection with the direct payments tied to production. Producers from the fruit and vegetables sector object to the allocation of $118 million, 33 percent of which was directed to the fruit and vegetables sector and 67 percent to products of animal origin.
