Greenhouses in the Delta region of Canada are hoping a new bylaw will allow them to combine heat and power generation facilities.
The South Delta Leader reports that "The use of combined heat and power generation fueled by natural gas is becoming increasingly attractive to greenhouse operators as a way to reduce energy costs and increase the availability of CO2 to enhance crop production."
