Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will serve as the keynote speaker at a new Joint General Session hosted by the United Fresh Produce Association (United Fresh) and the Food Marketing Institute (FMI) in Chicago.
The Keynote Joint General Session will be held June 10 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Arie Crown Theater at McCormick Place. Participation in the keynote session is available only to those attendees who hold either FMI's or United's educational package. The program is anticipated to attract several thousand attendees from across the global food industry.
"Secretary Clinton's participation will bring a special energy to our general session and we are looking forwarding to hearing her insights," says FMI President & CEO Leslie Sarasin.
Hillary Rodham Clinton served as the 67th U.S. Secretary of State from 2009 until 2013, after nearly four decades in public service.
