The Center for Produce Safety (CPS) will host the 5th Annual Produce Safety Research Symposium June 24-25 in Newport Beach, California.

Day one will feature a session on irrigation water sampling and potential risk factors, moderated by James Gorny, vice president of food safety and technology for the Produce Marketing Association. Panelists from the Universities of Georgia, Arizona, Arkansas, and Florida will present.
Day two's sessions will include pracitical considerations and management tools for irrigation water, pathogen transference, hot topics in food safety, and "building our tool boxes."
