Folsom & Pine Farm is opening March 15.
The farm has a new name and an expanded focus, and is now selling produce as well as plants, flowers, and edibles. The facility has 93,000 square feet of space and 1,500 individual products, the Grove City Record reports. The company will grow lettuce, microgreens, and seasonal produce and supply it to local restaurants and markets.
Folsom & Pine anticipates making about 10,000 baskets via combinations of annuals.
Folsom & Pine was previously Ehmann & Sons Greenhouse, a family business that was started in 1962. Jeremy Piwer, one of the currenty owners of Folsom & Pine, is a fifth-generation descendant of the Ehmann family.
