VALLEY VIEW, Ohio (May 6, 2019) – GIE Media, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of industry veteran Kate Spirgen to editor of Greenhouse Management, Produce Grower and Garden Center magazines.

Spirgen has been with GIE Media for seven years, having previously held the role of managing editor of Lawn & Landscape. She joined GIE Media's horticulture publications in 2012 as associate editor of Garden Center and A Garden Life. She was promoted to managing editor of A Garden Life in 2012, where she was awarded a Folio Award in the Best Standalone Digital Magazine - Consumer Category. She joined Lawn & Landscape as digital content editor in 2014.
