The Leamington District Chamber of Commerce hosted representatives of local greenhouses, food processing companies and other stakeholders on Friday at a ceremony to mark the beginning of a feasibility study into the creation of an Agri-business Centre of Excellence for skills development, innovation and environmental issues.

“The potential future impact on individual careers, and the resulting economic benefit to families from improved job prospects, cannot be underestimated. There are many in this community who will benefit from this concept, should the study indicate it is a viable project.”
