Mission Produce has appointed Jose Maldonado as its new director of global logistics. Maldonado joins Oxnard, Calif.-based Mission after a number of appointments with Dole Fresh Fruit International, including the role of finance operations manager, where he was responsible for vessel chartering, fuel supply contracts, commercial carrier contract/relations, commercial fleet operations budgeting, among other responsibilities.
Mission’s vice president of distribution and logistics, Jeremy Currier, said Maldonado would bring vast experience to the company, including 15 years in the global logistics and finance sector.
