According to a press release, Canadian grower Mucci Farms has been awarded a PAC Award at the 2018 Packing Consortium Awards (PAC). Mucci Farms' Veggies to Go product was named Best in Class in the New Brand - Food & Beverage category on March 1. The event took place in Bonita Springs, Florida.
“Veggies to Go was an exciting and challenging project that took us three years to bring to the market, so it’s very rewarding to have it received so well by retailers, consumers and now industry packaging experts,” Fernanda Albuquerque, new product development manager for Mucci, said in the the press release.
Veggies to Go is an on-the-go snack product for kids. It is available in four different varieties: Sun Drops Sweet Grape Tomatoes, Sweet to the Point Mini Pointed Peppers, CuteCumbers Snack-sized Cucumbers and Sun Bites Sweet Grape Tomatoes.
