Oasis Grower Solutions, a division of Smithers-Oasis, has launched a new website, OasisGrowerSolutions.com, designed as a knowledge and resource destination to help growers across horticulture and agriculture thrive.

“We really wanted to create a site that serves as a knowledge hub for people in the horticulture and agriculture industries and helps fulfill our purpose to provide innovative, real-world solutions for their problems,” said Vijay Rapaka, Smithers-Oasis director of global grower operations and research. “I’m very proud that this new website is both beautiful and functional and achieves our goal of supporting and serving growers, farmers and researchers worldwide in their work.”

Growers, researchers and other visitors will find sections dedicated to the four primary markets served by the company:

  • Floriculture
  • Controlled environment agriculture
  • Nursery
  • AgBiotech

Each market segment contains practical information about crops, propagation and cultivation methods and products applicable to the market. Links to detailed crop-specific overviews and related resources in PDF format are also available for download.

Individual product pages on the new website offer in-depth information on Oasis Grower Solutions products, designed to support growers from propagation through postharvest and beyond.

With product category pages, growers can explore products in five primary categories:

  • Propagation
  • Hydroponics
  • Production aids
  • Postharvest quality
  • Greenhouse cleaners and disinfectants

“The world is changing rapidly, and so are the growing industries,” Rapaka said. “Our new website helps assure that growers have access to the knowledge and innovations they need to meet the future and succeed.”

The new site also contains the division’s worldwide locations and contact information, a distributor listing and varied news and insights. A resource section provides visitors with access to dozens of grower support materials ranging from product overviews, product usage instructions and product application sheets to research reports and how-to videos. An upgraded online shopping experience for e-commerce customers is also available.

Plans for future enhancements include crop-specific growing guides, expanded information for researchers and academics and additional resources related to the division’s ongoing sustainability initiatives.
