The Produce Marketing Association (PMA) is once again preparing to partner with the National Grocers Association with an expanded presence at their 2013 show. At the center of the expo floor will be the “PMA Produce Pavilion,” a hub for 28 produce companies to display the latest industry innovations, trends and product available to help grow sales. The PMA Produce Pavilion not only provides an expanded produce presence at the event, but it also allows representatives of the entire supply chain to connect with wholesalers and independent grocers.
The event will be held on Feb. 10-13 at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
PMA’s President and CEO, Bryan Silbermann, will be moderating The Super Breakfast Session titled “Fresh Foods: Consumer, Marketplace and Environmental Trends” on Monday, Feb. 11 at 6:45am. PMA’s Chairman of the Board and Vice President of Marketing for the California Avocado Commission Jan DeLyser will also speak at Sunday evening’s Opening Keynote Session, “America’s Debt and Deficit Crisis: Issues and Solutions with Alan Simpson and Erskine Bowles.” Silbermann, DeLyser, and PMA’s Vice President of Sales and Business Development, Anthony Barbieri will be available for media interviews inside the Pavilion on Feb. 11 and 12.
