Produce Marketing Association (PMA) welcomed Ashley Boucher as the new public relations manager, on Jan. 1. Boucher brings experience in business-to-business communications and technical writing to the association’s public relations team.
Boucher is responsible for creating and executing public relations activities supporting PMA member relations, events, and products and services, including the 2013 Fresh Summit International Convention & Exposition slated for Oct. 18-20. Focusing on media relations and member communications, she will help expand the association’s use of social media and multimedia to connect with PMA members. She will also support the association’s issues and crisis management team. She reports to PMA’s Public Relations Director Meg Miller.
Prior to joining PMA, Boucher worked on the public relations team of Schubert Communications, an integrated marketing firm servicing business-to-business clients in the technical, chemical and biochemical industries. Boucher holds a bachelor’s in public relations from Immaculata University in Malvern, Pa., and currently resides in southern New Jersey.
