Texas A&M is hosting a day-long health talk at their College Station campus. The conference is organized through the Vegetable and Fruit Improvement Center and will be held Feb. 25, 2014. 
Experts will discuss the connection between fruit and vegetables and medical advancements. The conference, geared toward consumers, will include presentations by researchers, producers, allied produce industry leaders from across the United States, and will mark the 20th anniversary of Texas A&M University’s Vegetable and Fruit Improvement Center.
The conference will be 8:20 a.m.-5 p.m. A banquet at 7 p.m. will celebrate the center’s 20-year history. An open house of the research facility at 1500 Research Parkway will be 8:30-11:30 a.m. Feb. 26.
