Village Farms has announced the company will be participating in the 2016 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival at Walt Disney World Resort. According to the release, Village Farms will be one of 30 global marketplaces at the popular festival that draws guests from around the world.
The new Greenhouse Guru marketplace will feature a food and beverage kiosk serving up a number of dish offerings made with Village Farms exclusive tomato varieties. Greenhouse Guru will also feature an exhibit on greenhouse growing to showcase the many environmental benefits of this method of farming. The 62 day event takes place Sept. 14 through Nov. 14 at Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
