According to a recent report on the World Economic Forum's website, despite the havoc wrought on the produce industry by the coronavirus pandemic, some U.S. farmers are prospering by delivering boxes of produce directly to consumers.
Food delivery overall has increased since the crisis began as consumers jittery about catching COVID-19 at grocery stores and other food outlets turn to local vendors, whose food has passed through few hands.
