Danish leafy greens production systems company Viemose DGS and North American-based automation company Foray Enterprises Inc. have formed a strategic partnership to provide North American leafy greens growers with more coordinated, on-the-ground support across their operations.

By combining Viemose DGS’s expertise in moving gutter systems with Foray’s experience in post-harvest automation and systems integration, the two companies aim to help growers run more efficient, reliable and streamlined operations, they said in a news release.

Viemose DGS has delivered numerous moving gutter system projects across the continent, with several additional installations currently underway.

Foray Enterprises, while new in name, is led by the team of Viscon Group NA Ltd. The team brings many years of experience delivering large-scale automation projects, including leafy greens production and post-harvest facilities.

As part of the partnership, Foray Enterprises will represent Viemose DGS in North America, providing local sales support, installation management, technical advisory services and ongoing after-sales service. Together, the companies will offer growers a more connected approach by aligning production systems and post-harvest automation, reducing coordination challenges and improving overall operational flow.

“Although Foray is a new company, the team behind it has been active in North America for many years,” said Albert Pinto of Foray Enterprises. “We see Viemose DGS’s moving gutter system as a strong complement to our post-harvest automation solutions, enabling growers to improve efficiency while simplifying how different parts of the operation work together.”

“We see this partnership as a win for growers,” added Floris Berghout, CEO of Viemose DGS. “By combining our moving gutter technology with Foray’s local expertise and post-harvest know-how, we can offer a more complete solution and stronger support across the entire production process.”

Viemose DGS and Foray Enterprises see their collaboration as a practical response to industry challenges including rising labor costs and the challenge of aligning production and post-harvest systems and aim to support growers as operations become more complex.

Through the partnership, the companies aim to provide integrated solutions that help growers achieve strong returns on investment while keeping systems practical and manageable in daily operation.
